About Us

My name is Jeremiah Heywood. I am an Eagle Scout, father of three wonderful children, and a husband to an amazing wife. Growing up I was taught to respect authority and to honor those who serve. Both of my grandfathers were WWII veterans, and they talked about what it was like to serve and what an honor it was to fight for our freedoms. I watched as first responders came to the rescue every single day, from helping to save my father's life when he was sick to running into a burning tower on 9/11. Watching and witnessing the bravery and heroism that first responders and active-duty military have drove me to want to help and support them any way that I could. To give back to those that give and are willing to give everything to serve our communities and our nation. I have always tried to find ways to support our military and first responders, and with that desire, Heroes Equipped, Inc. was born. It started as a dream, grew into a goal, and turned into a reality.

We started Heroes Equipped, Inc. on July 20, 2025, and will be filing for nonprofit status shortly.

Our mission is to take the burden of high cost tools and supplies off of the backs of our first responders and active-duty military in every community, in every state, across America. We will donate the high-quality tools and supplies to these heroes deserve to use and need to use every single day to serve us. We will equip those that serve, so they don't have to.
